Africa faces challenges that are linked in complex ways and cannot be solved independently. The NILE African Development Organisation encourages an integrated approach to these challenges by working to improve health and nutrition, education, sustainable development, food and agriculture, the environment, and wildlife conservation through a network of charities and their African partners in Sub-Saharan Africa. The mission of The NILE is twofold: to help the poor help themselves — to help people overcome the devastating effects of poverty and develop the capacity to create a new future for themselves and their communities; and to provide responsible ways for people with charitable hearts to help the poor to a better life.
